Lagos- Just a month after the Dana
air crash, which claimed over 160 lives, the unfortunate incident that Nigerians won’t forget in a hurry. Another
plane crash landed yesterday in Benin. The Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB)
made a public statement on Thursday that no casualty was recorded in the
Diamond DA 42 MPP aircraft which crash-landed in Benin, Edo.
This was disclosed in an online
statement by AIB’s Head, Public Affairs, Mr Tunji Oketunbi.
According to Oketunbi, the aircraft
marked 5N-BKS and belonging to PICOMMS was involved in a serious incident when
it Crash-landed at the Benin Airport in Edo State.
“In spite of this, we can say that
no casualties were recorded,’’ the statement disclosed.(NAN)
Nigerian are still waiting for the
final report on Dana Aircraft, the committee which is headed by Senator Hope
Uzodinma.
