The secret place of the Most High is the place of secret communion and confidences with those who come to dwell with Him. Here, He makes His secrets known to His children. It is the place of divine wisdom where the secrets of hearts are brought to light- Deut. 29:29; Ps. 25:14.
The true servants of God are made in the secret place of His tabernacle. Also the fatness (riches) of His house are in the secret place, hence, only those that dwell in the secret place uncovers the hidden treasures of secret places- Ps. 32:8.
The pre-requisite for abiding under the shadow of the Almighty's protection is dwelling in His secret place. Every believer should strive to discover this truth by building a personal relationship with God as the secret of his life.
Almighty is the Hebrew ''shaddai'' meaning All-sufficient, and the Greek Panokrator meaning All- powerful. El-shaddai is the name of God that sets Him as the strengthener and satisfier of His people.
The shadow of the Almighty refers to God's covenant cover to bless and make us fruitful as we duly obey Him and walk in righteousness. The secret place of the Most High is for communion and revelation of God's secrets while the shadow of the Almighty is for protection, provision, discipline and fruitfulness.
