Experts recommend that women prioritize their sleep, as inadequate rest can lead to serious physical and emotional consequences. While the general recommendation is 7-9 hours of sleep per night, women may need an additional 11-20 minutes of sleep due to their more demanding brain activity.


A study by Duke University found that women are more susceptible to health issues resulting from sleep deprivation, including higher levels of psychological distress, hostility, depression, and anger.


Recognizing women's unique sleep needs is crucial, and prioritizing rest can have a significant impact on overall health and well-being.
