KINDS OF HUMAN MIND

1.     REPROBATE MIND: This, in other words can be called rejected mind. It is the mind God has rejected and given up, this is the mind of those that have rejected God and do not want to retain Him in their thoughts. Such minds are rendered incapable and impossible of being renewed again unto repentance. Those who have this mind have lost all moral sensitivity and have given themselves over to every kind of impurity and lust and wickedness (Heb. 6:4-8; 12:16-17, Eph. 4:19, Rom. 1:28-32).
2.     BLIND MIND: This is the mind that is blinded through unbelief and religious formalities or traditions. This kind of mind is mainly manifested by those with religious spirit. There is nothing that so blinds the mind of men as religion. It blinds the mind with unbelief and unbelief is rooted in tyranny of the familiar and conformity-what one is familiar with is used to make him or her reluctant to respond to  anything different (2 Cor. 3:13-15; 4:4).
3.     WICKED MIND: The word wicked means lawless. Other words for it are iniquity or abomination. Wickedness has its root in the heart and mind. No favour shown to a person with wickedness makes him or her learn what is right. Even if he or she is in the midst of righteous people, he or she will still do unjustly and will not see the majesty of the Lord in the midst of His people (Prov. 21:27, Isa. 26:10-11).
4.     FOOLISH MIND: The extremely foolish mind has convinced and concluded in him or herself that there is no God. Those who manage to believe in the Supreme Being, called God do not glorify or thank Him as God. This is as a result of the futility of their thinking and hardened hearts, which has led them to exchange the glory of the immortal God for images of mortal men, birds, animals and reptiles and begin to worship them. Another phrase for the foolish mind is vanity of the mind or the mind of vain imaginations (Ps. 14:1, Prov. 29:11, Rom. 1:21-23, Eph. 4:17, 2 Cor. 10:5).
5.      DOUBTFUL MIND: Another phrase for the doubtful mind is double mind. This mind is very unstable in the matters of faith in the promises of God. The person with this mind is faithless and prone to rely more on things he or she can quickly see, feel or handle with the natural senses. Such one is quickly drawn to run after olive oil, holy water, handkerchief or other visible proofs before believing (Jam. 1:6, Jn. 20:24-29).

6.     POLITICAL MIND: This is the mind interested, concerned and connected with power, status or position within an organization rather than matters of principle. It thrives in politics and logics. Position and power and what goes with them are his primary concern, whether in secular or religious circle. The biblical examples of people with this kind of minds are the Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes. Their ultimate goal is dirty gain, either in cash or kind. They can do anything to acquire power and position that will bring them to the helm of affairs to get what they want (Matt. 23:1-12, Mk .12:38-40).
