HEAVEN AND EARTH

One of the deceptions of the god of this world in the lives of people including God's people is making them to believe and think that the way they see or perceive things on earth is the way they are perceived in heaven. But when we humble ourselves to God's world the differences will be revealed to us.
Heaven is entirely a new order completely different from the order of this world. Order here means the way that people or things are placed or arranged in relation to each other and in relation to God the creator. The old order began with the fall of man and will end with the judgment and destruction of this world. The new order began with the life and ministry of Christ which gave birth to the church. The church is God's divine order of restoring man back to Himself and the earth to God so that His will in heaven will be done on earth. This new order is being enforced through incessant preaching of the pure gospel of Christ until the second coming of Christ which will remove everything that belongs to the old order- Rev. 21:1-8; 2 Pet. 3:10-14.
Heaven and hell are two different realms that are in sharp contrasts. Heaven is eternal while earth is temporal; heaven is holy and glorious while the earth is a polluted place with all forms of corruption. Heaven is the throne of God and th home of the holy angels while the earth is God's footstool and the realm of fallen and sinful humanity.
We are terribly in serious deception if we think that the way things are viewed on earth is the same way it is viewed in  heaven. The earth because of its corrupt nature is brought under a thick and dark covering of fear and doubt that those in it can hardly see or understand what heaven sees and understands- Jn.1:1-13; 2 Cor. 4:3-6. The way things are seen here on earth is in complete contrast to the way heaven sees it; that is why Jesus warned that we can pretend to be good in the sight of men, but God searches the heart and knows the content at anytime-Jn. 16:14-15. God does not judge as man does, He looks at the disposition of the heart before passing His judgment, while men judge according to physical appearance- 1 Sam. 6:6-7.
What we shall be in God's kingdom will not be dependent on how men perceive us but on how heaven perceives us. Many who are considered very good and great on earth are actually great disappointment to heaven, such people if they eventually make it to heaven will be the least- Mat. 5:19-20. Those who are great in heaven are not known by what they have done, but by the way they lived. What makes us great in heaven is not the great ministry or gift we display on earth but the fruit of life we bear- Matt. 23:1-12; Gal. 5:22-26.

Heaven is indeed a complete opposite of what is obtained here on earth. It is true that Jesus used the things of this world, in His parables to compare the things of heaven. He did so only in the light of the principles He taught us in the Lord's prayer '' Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven''.
