PERFECTION- THE ULTIMATE TOOL FOR RAPTURE

Perfection is a state of completeness or having everything that is necessary, complete and without faults. Absolute perfection is God's attribute. He alone is complete and lacks nothing. His perfection is eternal and has no possibility of defects; It is the standard and ground for all other perfection- Matt. 5:48. Perfection is what presents the nature of God to us so that we allow Christ to live in us; It is ascribed to men and the only way we can achieve this is to die in the flesh and the world (to reject the deeds of the flesh in totality and not conforming to the dictates of the world). Perfection presents the nature of God to us while maturity presents us as men and women who has come of age in the Christian race, and still need to press towards perfection as the high calling of God for us in Jesus Christ- Phil. 3:15-16.
God has always demanded or required perfection in His servants in every dispensation, depending on His standard of covenant with them. In the dispensation of conscience, Enoch attained a level of perfection that God took him to heaven alive without allowing him to experience death- Gen. 5:21-24. Noah was also a man that walked perfectly with God and this qualified him to find grace with God such that only his family was saved from the flood that destroyed the world- Gen. 6:5-9. In the dispensation of promise, God commanded Abraham (whom he separated from his idolatrous family) to walk before Him and be perfect, it was on this basis that God made covenant with Abraham and multiplied him- Gen. 17:1-3. He also demanded perfection from the people of Israel in the dispensation of the law. This indicates that God always requires perfection from His children in every dispensation and the new testament dispensation is not exceptional. In fact, God demands more perfection from those of us in the new testament because we are in a better dispensation where grace is speaking.

The analysis of the vision is to assess what we hear from our pulpits and to know if we are on the right path of God's mindset and thereafter carry this message to others in the world. It is meant for self evaluation. The self questions that should be answered are what are what are we hearing? What are we preaching? How are we living? How is our life and gospel affecting the world?
